Video Processors Selector

We provide a broad range of video processors products to improve your visual system.

We specialize in unique and challenging video processing tasks, including video combining, video conversion, video windowing, and video rotation. Each of these functions is summarized below.

Video Combining, also called video blending or video mixing, refers to various techniques for combining two independent, asynchronous video streams. The EZblendTM and EZwindowTM video combiner solutions allow the output timing to be completely independent of the video inputs. EZwindowHRTM supports dual link DVI display devices.  EZwindowHRTM will window multiple lower resolution inputs to create a high resolution (up to 2560 x 1600) dual link DVI output, or combine lower resolution inputs with (1) dual link DVI input to create a dual link DVI output with the same timing as the dual link DVI input. Typical video combining techniques include alpha blend, RGB keying, HSV keying, split screens, foreground window over a background image, etc.

Video Conversion refers to converting one video format to another. EZscanTM is a cost-effective video processor that handles most conversions, including conversions between NTSC, PAL, STANAG, RS-343, RS-170, RGB, and many other formats.   EZscanTM Model II extends the baseline EZscanTM capabilities, supporting more extensive re-sizing and higher resolutions. Our processors allow user-defined areas-of interest so that you can process particular regions of interest.   EZlinkTM is a specialized converter, accepting HOTLink data streams and converting to TMDS (Single link DVI) or RGB.

Video Windowing refers to the placement of input video into a window within the output video's active area. Our standard EZwindowTM supports from (2) to (5) standard video inputs. Our EZwindowHRTM supports (1) to (5) standard video inputs, plus (1) dual link DVI input, to create one combined dual link DVI output. Standard video inputs include NTSC, PAL, RGB, DVI, RS343, and RS170.

Video Rotation refers to rotating either a specified area of interest (AOI) within an active area, or an entire active area, in a multiple of 90 degrees. Video rotation is useful in many specialty applications, including accommodating panels, monitors, or projectors that must be turned on their side for various reasons.

Our EZscanTM and EZscanTM Model II video processors are designed to meet your specific video rotation challenge.
